It’s almost the new year, which means it’s the perfect time to start thinking about updating your current home décor. Before you begin painting the walls and swapping furniture, we’ve compiled our favorite home trends for 2019 to help inspire your next project.
1.) Bold wallpapers
In 2019, bold wallpapers are making a comeback in geometric shapes, bright patterns, and tropical and florals prints. If you’re not ready to add wallpaper to an entire room just yet, start out small using wallpaper in a bathroom, an accent wall or inside a closet.

3.) Natural elements
As organic living continues to trend, many people are looking for new ways to bring natural elements into their home. By incorporating materials such as stone, copper, concrete, and granite into your room, you will be able to bring the outdoors inside and create a more tranquil ambiance.

4.) Light wood floors
Homeowners are also seeking light wood floors to create an open and airy feel throughout their home. Woods like birch, beachy white and light oak are expected to grow in popularity due to their ability to reflect light and brighten an entire room.
5.) Mix and match metals
In the new year, you’ll start to see less kitchens with matching metals, and more spaces with combinations of copper, stainless steel and nickel. Incorporating two or three different metals between your faucets, bar stools and hardware can add unique style and personality to the room.
